Eqvalan Gold is a veterinary-approved oral paste formulated for treating parasitic infections in horses. This paste contains ivermectin and praziquantel, making it an effective solution against a wide range of internal parasites. This paste is specifically indicated for the treatment of tapeworms, Anoplocephala perfoliata, as well as various stages of strongyles, including adult and arterial larval stages of Strongylus vulgaris, and adult stages of S. edentatus, S. equinus, Craterostomum acuticaudatum, Triodontophorus brevicauda, and T. serratus. Additionally, it targets small strongyles and intestinal threadworms, pinworms, ascarids, hairworms, large-mouth stomach worms, and neck threadworms, as well as oral and gastric stages of bots. Furthermore, Eqvalan Gold may aid in the clinical improvement of dermatoses caused by cutaneous larvae of Habronema spp. and Draschia megastoma, and microfilariae of Onchocerca cervicalis.
